Painting Gallery II: Series > Cartouche series

This series of paintings is a kind of cartography or "mapping" of the flotsam and jetsam of images, symbols, icons, and popular ephemera accumulated in my mind over many years of observing and creating relationships between things. The paintings invite the viewer to associatively recognize, unlock, or find their own experiences within the paintings, creating a shared path across the terrain of my mapped internalized narrative.
